Earlier this year the Spokane County Fire District 8 engaged the services of Bridge Group LLC to assist us in the process of creating a new strategic plan. This plan is the result of feedback provided by District members, along with the citizens, neighboring emergency services agencies, and other partner organizations. This document will serve as a guide for evaluating four defined focus areas. The four focus areas include Fiscal Sustainability, Innovative and High Performing Organization, Community Education and Engagement, Emergency Response and Customer Service, and Asset Resource Management.
The 2024 Strategic Plan was formally adopted by our Board of Fire Commissioners at their meeting on October 10, 2023.
