Spokane County Fire District 8 is under direction of a three-person Board of Fire Commissioners who are elected at large by the voters within the District to serve staggered six-year terms.

Operations

The Fire District’s Operations Division is responsible for emergency response services, incident management, and the training and professional development of assigned personnel. Emergency response services provided include fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical services, and hazardous materials/WMD response. Emergency medical services are provided at the advanced life support level (ALS) by Washington State certified firefighter/paramedics.

Small Works Roster & Consultant Services

Spokane County Fire District 8 uses Municipal Research and Services Center Rosters (MRSC) to maintain our Small Works and Consultant Rosters.
